PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy applies to Clash client downloads, configuration guides, tutorials, Troubleshooting, and blog pages accessed through clashgpu.com. The site primarily publishes static content and does not offer user registration, member accounts, or email subscriptions. The sections below describe data that may arise during visits, how it is used, and the controls available to visitors.

1. Scope of Data Collection

Visitors are not required to create an account, and the site does not provide forms requesting names, email addresses, phone numbers, or identity information. No personal details are needed to browse documentation, compare clients, or open a download page.

To deliver pages, protect the site, and troubleshoot errors, the server may automatically record technical information such as the access time, request path, response status, browser type, device category, referring page, and network address. These records help maintain availability, identify abnormal requests, and analyze page errors; they are not used to build user account profiles.

When visitors continue through an external app store, download service, or other website, that service may separately collect device, account, or transaction information. Such processing is governed by the relevant service’s rules and falls outside the data directly controlled by this site.

2. Analytics and Purposes of Use

This site uses analytics tools to understand page-visit trends, such as which documents are read, what device types visitors use, whether pages load successfully, and how visitors move through site entry points. The results help refine navigation, address documentation gaps, assess use of platform download links, and investigate unusual traffic.

Analytics systems may process page URLs, referrer URLs, browser information, operating system, access times, and technically processed network identifiers. The primary purpose is to analyze visits in aggregate, without requiring visitors to submit their real identities. This site does not use analytics results to decide whether an individual may download a client or read documentation.

If a browser enables “Do Not Track,” content blocking, or privacy protection features, some analytics requests may be restricted. These restrictions generally do not affect basic access to static content, tutorials, or download pages.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

The site’s main reading features do not depend on a login session. Where permitted by the browser, analytics components may use cookies or similar browser identifiers to distinguish consecutive visits and reduce duplicate counts. Specific storage behavior is affected by browser settings, private browsing, and blocking rules.

Page scripts may use URL fragments to preserve the currently selected platform tab, such as restoring the Windows download section after opening download.html#windows. This state is used mainly for interface navigation and does not contain names or contact details. If local storage is later used to save interface preferences, the data remains in the visitor’s own browser and can be deleted through the browser’s site-data controls.

Visitors can clear cookies, site data, and cached files in their browser settings, and can also restrict future storage. After clearing them, platform tabs or interface preferences may return to their default values, but public pages can still be opened normally.

4. Third-Party Links and Download Sources

Pages on this site may link to app stores, official client websites, and download infrastructure. After a link is opened, the destination service may apply its own privacy policy, terms of service, and logging practices. This site cannot control third-party page updates, account requirements, or retention periods; review the destination’s published rules before proceeding.

Before downloading a client, verify the operating system, processor architecture, file extension, and client name associated with the download button. During installation, review the source, signature, and permission notices shown by the operating system. If the browser redirects unexpectedly, the file type does not match the page description, or the system reports a changed source, stop the installation and return to this site’s download page to confirm the correct entry point.

Third-party links are provided only to offer software access or supplementary information. External pages may become unavailable when their publishers make changes. This site will update pages when broken links are found, but cannot guarantee that external services will keep the same address or features.

5. Retention, Security, and Policy Updates

Server logs and analytics data are retained only for as long as needed to operate the site, analyze trends, protect against security issues, and troubleshoot problems. Retention periods may change with system capacity, security incidents, and operational requirements. Access should be limited to personnel responsible for site maintenance and incident handling.

This policy may be revised when site features, analytics methods, download sources, or applicable rules change. Updated content will be published on this page, and the “Last updated” date at the top will be changed accordingly. For significant changes, the new terms apply; visitors may review the relevant sections again before continuing to browse.

If you have questions about page features, download steps, or data handling, start with Troubleshooting; for client import, connection, and system proxy instructions, see the User Guide. This site does not collect visitors’ contact details through this page.
